AREAM is involved in some European networks for cooperation, in order to share experiences and reach a common affirmation on energy and environmental matters:
RNAE – Association of Energy and Environment AgenciesIt is a Portuguese network constituted by regional and municipal energy and environment agencies, with the mission to intervene, at a national level, to position energy agencies as privileged interlocutors among local authorities and its associations, government entities and other institutions, to promote the implementation of energy and environmental policies.
FEDARENE – European federation of regional energy and environment agenciesIt is a European network of regional energy and environment organisms that aims fundamentally to the assertion of the regional dimension in European energy and environmental policies, basing its activity on the dissemination of information, constitution of forums for promoting cooperation and exchange of experiences and in giving advice on documents and European community programs on energy and environmental issues.
ISLENET – European islands energy and environment networkIt is a European network for insular regions with the objective to promote the dissemination of technological solutions, analysis of insular issues concerning energy and environment and the assertion of insular specificities among the European institutions.
ÉNERGIE-CITÉS – Association of European municipalities towards urban energy efficiencyIt is a European network of cities that aims for the joint analysis on energy and environment issues in urban areas, the promotion of cooperation between cities and the adoption of joint positions, namely concerning documents and European community support programs in the energy domain.
EUFORES – European forum for renewable energy sourcesThis European network has as objective the promotion of renewable energy sources and European Union policies on this matter.
